Got an SSL certificate error

Something is off with the API key/authorization, I tried the lab twice but still getting this error: Get https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/place/nearbysearch/json?key=AIzaSyA7byCWk2eTnsZcK5FOxhz2PsH02ThV_Ps&location=-33.8594663,151.1927602&radius=500: API error 6 (urlfetch: SSL_CERTIFICATE_ERROR): [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed (_ssl.c:661)
